Templates guide agent output by defining structure, formatting, or both. Supported template formats include PowerPoint, Excel, Word, PDF, JSON, XML, Markdown, and plain text.
Upload a branded PowerPoint template to get slides in your company's style, provide an Excel template to define the structure of a generated workbook, or use a PDF template when you need the agent to populate a form-like layout. Text-based templates (JSON, XML, Markdown, plain text) are useful for defining repeatable output schemas.
You can also convert an uploaded document into a template. Select a document and use the Convert to template option, or ask the agent in chat to save a document or report as a template — Brightwave uses it as the structural basis for future outputs.
Click the Templates button in the composer to browse templates from your library, your team, or Brightwave's pre-built collection. Select a template before sending your prompt — the agent will match its structure and formatting.
