- Office Add-in — Brightwave is now available as a Microsoft 365 add-in for Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Chat with Brightwave inside Office and let agents read and edit your documents directly, in Office Add-in.
- Added AI image generation — agents can now generate diagrams, visual summaries, and illustrations on demand and save them to your project's data room, in Agents & Outputs.
- Added a Downloads menu to the user menu for quick access to the desktop app, Office add-in, and mobile apps.

- Added per-conversation reasoning effort control — choose how much the AI reasons before responding, from Minimal to X-high, or leave it on Auto. Higher reasoning improves accuracy on complex analysis at the cost of speed, in Chat.
- Help agent is now available to all users — click the help button in the sidebar to chat with Brightwave’s built-in guidance agent for questions about the platform.

- Spreadsheet outputs are now editable — edit cells, adjust formatting, and rotate text directly in the spreadsheet viewer. Changes are saved automatically and tracked through version history, in Agents & Outputs.

- Text and Markdown outputs are now editable — edit text and markdown documents directly in the viewer without exporting, in Agents & Outputs.

- Added audio file uploads with automatic transcription — upload MP3, MP4, M4A, WAV, or WEBM files and Brightwave transcribes them for search, analysis, and citations, in Documents & Sources.
- Any file type can now be uploaded — text-based files (.py, .yaml, .log, etc.) are indexed for search and citations; binary files (.parquet, .zip, etc.) are available to agents via code execution, in Documents & Sources.
- Added Ctrl+[ keyboard shortcut in the spreadsheet viewer to jump to a formula’s precedent cell, matching Excel behavior.
