Accessing Brightwave
Use Brightwave in the browser at app.brightwave.io, or install the Brightwave desktop app for macOS, Windows, or Linux. To work inside Excel, Word, or PowerPoint, install the Brightwave Microsoft Add-in from Microsoft Marketplace.

Projects
Projects are the core organizational unit. Each project contains your documents, chats, and generated outputs for a specific research effort. You can share projects with teammates and pin frequently used ones for quick access.
Documents
Documents are the sources and data that feed your research. Upload your own files, connect cloud storage, or pull in public data like SEC filings, earnings transcripts, and company events.
Chat
Chat is how you interact with Brightwave's AI. Ask questions about your documents, request analysis, and generate structured outputs through natural language.
Agents
Specialized AI agents handle different types of work. When you request a report, chart, presentation, or other output, a dedicated agent runs in the background to complete the task.
Outputs
Agents produce structured outputs — reports, presentations, spreadsheets, charts, and tables — that you can review, edit, and export in standard file formats.
